What can you tell me about these? It says it mounts to the existing trunnion with 2 screws.
Will these work on my Romy G AK's? Is it strong? Is it lame?

Is it a good deal?

I just traded mine for AR mags, I bought it for like 25 dollars a year or two ago. They are nicely built, there are two types button and lever types. They will beat the hell out of you if you shoot much with them.

It'll drop right in to your Romy build without much fitting at all. They aren't the most comfy thing known to man, but they work and are far sturdier than the tapco folder.

Thanks for the replies.
That is interesting about the Tapco. Since it mounts with only 2 screws I was thinking that it might not be very strong.

Pricewise, it's not a screaming deal. I've seen them sell for cheaper, but that's about average for the price on them.
They'll work on a Romy G kit, but you'll need to make sure you get the correct screws. I have one on one of my Romy kits and it works. I don't shoot it very often, but I guess that's sort of what happens with a safe half-full of AK variants... :D
Not the most comfortable thing to shoot, but whatever. Some people wrap them in para cord.

It mounts to the rear trunnion. It uses two screws in place of the wood screws that you'd use with a wood stock. It's plenty strong.

The tapco is plastic, these are steel and quite sturdy. As was said, not extremely comfy, but drop in. These go through cycles of availability, and the price fluctuates accordingly from about $30 up to over $100...

I believe the threads on the one I had were 10-32, which I thought was odd. I know they were some of the screws Muddawg95yj sent me back in the day.
