: Propane Base Plate - need to plug ports?

I have an OHG 450 that I'm about to finish assembling to the bottom plate with the butterflies. I've heard on several forums that you need to plug or JB Weld various ports under the propane carb. Pics are attached of my set-up, and I'm wondering if I need to plug any of the ports / holes on the base plate?

i had all kinds off issues with this. it caused some bitching vacuum leaks that i fought for weeks. i had trouble with getting my rpm's low enough and propane consumption.

i solved it by placing a sheet of gasket material over the baseplate and tracing four holes in it with a razor to match the butterflys. then i permatex'ed it in place.

after the distributor, egr and tranny vac lines were hooked up, everything else gets capped. its quick, neatly done and cheap.
