South Korea’s defense ministry said Wednesday it plans to raise tens of millions of dollars by selling more than 100,000 aging US-supplied rifles to gun enthusiasts in the United States.

I'd guess that CMP or another importer/C&R dealer will take the whole lot.

Hmmm. I thought there was something about the Turkish garands, where there are more of them over their, but they can not be imported back into this country by a private party in one piece. The receiver and barrel would need to be cut.
The only way MP got the M1s and then the carbines more recently is because the host Gov gave them back to our Gov.

Looks like they think they are worth $1000 ea
