So I went and looked at a f250 with a f350 king pin dana 60 swap in it. The truck is run in the ground. How much would the front end be worth since it has new bearings in it and works good. It will need both tie rods and center link to be in excellent used condition but that is it. I am thinking about buying the whole truck but am not sure what to offer. Thanks

anything under a grand for a d60 is a good price
that one is the less desireable HP version but still better n chevy or dodge stuff

What year 60? Depending on your local market a 78-79 axle could be worth 500-2500$, 87-whatever year they went to ball joints will be worth less in most cases 500-1500$.
What year truck? Any other good parts that will bring decent money?

Well the truck has nice 16" aluminum wheels, zf5, luk SMF, diesel(270k miles), and king pin D60 out of a 93 f350. I know pulled apart it would be worth 3k top dollar but that is a lot of work.

I am mainly interested in how much the front axle alone would be worth.

87 models were kingpin too, just have the chunk 3" further to the driver side than the 78-79

I know that but just couldn't remember what the cutoff year was, thus the 87 to whatever year they went to ball joints(92ish if IIRC).

So past the hijack no offense meant. With a HP Dana 60 from a 90's f350 king pin mounted in a working truck that needs tie rods and center link how much would it be worth on ebay to keep everything standard for the most part?

You've got facts that don't match

93 was a Balljoint axle.
Want to know the years, follow sig or see the bible.

It all depends on condition, from what you've stated I'd guess $400-800.

Thank you that info was very helpful. The differential has the short driver side tube and king pins. When I saw it the guy swore it came out from under a 93 but who the hell knows since he got it off ebay.

Get the BOM (or post pics) and we can share a lot more info about your axle...
