: New allpro product (4.3L compressor bracket)
New Product - York Compressor Bracket
This new upper and lower bracket solution allows for the mounting of popular York Air compressor on 4.3L and small block Chevy motors. Mount kit $149
Anyone buy one of these? I'm thinking about it. Would be nice to run a York on my 4.3L :D
LT's TOY 09-21-2002, 10:20 PM Yup, just putting the finishing touches in the plumbing. There was some trimming of the aluminum bracket involved, but nothing major. It's a nice fit and should work out fine. Belt p/n and photos later.
xtrm-s10 09-21-2002, 10:55 PM is this for the tbi or the cpi moter or will it fit both?
i don't think there is a difference in the mounting of the AC. I think they are all the same.
Nope - I need the room to keep the A/C :p

It will fit the early CPI motor. It will fit as long as it came with an R4 compressor. The later model CPI motors have an HT6 Compressor.

Sorry I have no aditional info on this product at this time. A friend of Jon's has been building these for guys he knew but got tired of making them. He sent the bracketts to us to have copied. This way he could just refer others to buy from us and he could spend his time building his truck.
He should be working on instalation and application info. I will post this on the web site when it's done.
damn it. i wish you guys would stop comming out with so much cool junk that i need to buy. :flipoff2:
LT's TOY 09-25-2002, 10:53 AM OK, first, sorry for the crappy pics. New DigiCam comming... second, although kinda pricey, everything lined up. Used a NAPA belt p/n 25-060970, omitting the idler wheel.

I won't waste any more space with this camera...
LT's TOY 09-25-2002, 11:04 AM used a junkyard heavy duty york and a clutch/pulley from Kilby.
Keith 09-25-2002, 02:30 PM That is way to easy to make. I aint spending no 149 bucks for 5 bucks worth of 1/4" plate and some tube.
