This axle sure looks like a hp d60 front.
Maybe to old for bible ID ?
BOM 620093 B
Looks like a B, could be a 8 ?
ALSO 093 stamped in webbing.
can get pics tomarrow if needed.
Thanks in advance..
edit: 8 lug
EDIT AGAIN.. IT IS A "R" not B or 8

Closest I found:
610023 FORD 60 FRONT 1978-79 F-250 & F-350 (SNOW FIGHTER)
Could you be reading it wrong? Post a picture.

Now after I got this axle in my hands, I was able to clean a lot of paint and with some sanding I found the real BOM, see pic
Edit: Got it 1994 F350 BJ

Also here is a pic of the 093 cast into the housing, I assume this is year of manufacture.

The cast numbers are for the foundry, the stamped numbers hold the info. AAM is American Axle & Manufacturing. Is that a Dodge front in the rear?

Somebody used a AAM 9.25 Dodge front axle as a rear steer.....nice...

Correct... Dodge front axle used for rear steer.
How can you tell that is a 9.25 by just looking at the pic.
Is that the only size they ever used in a front?
EDIT: It is WAY BIGGER than that D60 in the front...

They are a Dana 60 equivalent....and as far as I know, they only made a 9.25 for front applications.
