OZ, great place with neat things but they create one major problem... The silly little bastards drive on the wrong side of the truck!!!!!

The turbo is in. however I have hit some snags.....

Does anyone know what the little jobbies (I assume pressure sensors) are on the bottom of the brake master cylinders??? I think I need to find something to plug them..

Also, The intake portion of the turbo is now in the way of the steering shaft. So I will either have to modify the shaft to fit or go scout.. Anyone want to trade a drilled and tapped saginaw box for a scout one????

The things on the bottom of the MC are pressure differential sensors, they trigger the brake warning light. Don't know what thread or pitch they are, but you can plug them.
If it's any consolation, I have had hell today also....dropped the good 2 F motor from about 2 ft. while trying to swap out motor mount brackets, bent the lower pulley, had to drive to the farm (14 miles ) to get another one, had to pull it off with hand tools.
Motor mount brackets on the older engines use smaller bolts, so i had to drill all 6 out larger, they would not fit into my drill press and had to do them with a hand drill........etc. etc. etc.
Planned on swapping the engine, and firing it today, it is not even in the truck yet.

I wonder if the pickup box would hold up???

Can I try to fit it to see if it works???

Is that a IFS box???

actually its a fullsize chevy pickup Saginaw box. they mount just like a regular saginaw box, but mounts on the outside of the frame. not very useful for an fj40. we originally were going to use it on an fj55 but for some reason I can't remember it didn't work. your welcome to it & might be able to figure out a way to make it useful.

an Ifs box should have enough power if you run it w/ a saginaw pump. same goes for an fj60 Box. but I dojn't have either of those laying around.
