Gettin some guys together for some wheelin over Halloween weekend at the Badlands. Arrive fri oct 30th, wheel the 31st, then wheel and come home nov 1st.
Not a super hardcore group of guys. There'll only be 2 (maybe 3) guys from our club going, which are a ranger (sas'd, doubler, locked, 35's) and a full size chevy (tons and 38.5's). A few people from other forums mentioned making the trip with similarly built rigs (~35" tire size).
Just seein if anyone else will be around that weekend.

If I can get the wrangler all patched up by then I may come out for a day.

Yeah, Halloween doesn't seem to be the best time for most. We've had this planned for a while though so we're doin it, live and learn. Should be a good time, and maybe someone will bring some candy :D

Is the Badlands a good place to wheel? It's about the same distance to Attica as it is to get to Black Mountain in Harlan KY. It's 3 hours either way for me. Which would be the better place to wheel? I've been to Harlan and it's the best wheelin I've done so far.

Never been to Harlan so I can't compare parks by experience. From what I've seen i pics, Harlan is more "hardcore" if you will.
I'm on 35's and can run all over the Badlands. Trail wise its not really challenging. There are some obstacles in the quarry that would challenge larger tire rigs as well though. If you're only 3 hrs away (it's 2.75hrs for me), I'd say its definitely worth a trip just to check it out. 800 acres IIRC, so there should be enough ground to keep you occupied even if its not the best wheelin you've ever done.
