If I opened my land to 4x4 play could it be profitable? 1500 acres near Moab:smokin:

If it is as flat as a pancake no. If it is full of neat stuff (naked women perhaps?) you could make a killing.
Kinda' dumb question don't you think?

Absolutely, it would be great to open that up to others. There are several private off-road parks in the U.S.

Do you have any pictures of what would be available?

If you had something like Area BFE it would be cool but I doubt even they aren't getting rich of their property.

I guess i'm not making the connection between your property in Moab and Johnson Valley...wrong forum?

In your location, it says Texas!

What do you currently do with the land in Moab at the present time?
As someone already asked, what kind of terrain is it?

If you do not want to manage it, as you are in Texas all the time, see if the guys that run BFE could lease it from you for a portion of the profits of a flat rate per year.

Private parks do not have all the rules of the public lands.
But the land still has to be maintained.

First off, to the ass that said it was a dumb question. I have been out of the country for several yrs and out of four wheelin for many more yrs workin my @$$ off so I can own 1500 acres in Utah. dont bash if you dont know. :mad3:

Todd,

thanks for the sincere reply, yes as of now I am in TX but have a place in NM as well and lookin at retirein was thinkin bout puttin up a large shop for members. 3-4 water wells and RV spots, the terrain is pretty cool I think it basically a canyon. I figure a track or trail or 2-3 smaller ones. this Industry has exploded since I was in it and I dont know all the things that have evolved or what all I can do.

all Ideas welcome

Okay, maybe saying it was a dumb question was over the top, but you provided no information for anyone to give you any sort of advice.

I'm not into games. I would not have asked if I had flat land for a 4x4 site.

VP, would have never expected a reply like that from a title like that.

the 1500 acres fourty minutes from Moab is +/- 15 draws 2 have goat trails up the cut the others are virgin. some of the fingers have good glacier turds (boulder out crops). good grass in the bottom and one area I wont take my mules up.

does this sound like i could retire on and enjoy the show, or just lease it out.

when i figure out the photo bucket i will dump some in here.

Sounds cool. People like the Rich's from Werock are always looking for private land to hold comps. Could try hitting them up as well.
