The Tin Benders put on one of the largest partys I have seen on the Johnson Valley Lakebed. Lots of mickey bombs, a live band, lots of fireworks, Jello Wrestling and lots more. What a party! Here are a few pics...

Hell yeah - A good time was had by all. Except when Randy Ellis gave me a sled ride on a cargo pallet behind his buggy. I'm still washing dust outta my hair!!!

tin bender told me the sherrif came up to him and asked if we could keep the pyrotecnics down for a few minutes. i guess the helicopter flight for life piliot was just a tad nervous to take off with all the explosions. :D after the the helicopter took off he just said part on and have fun and be carfull.

I for one learned alot and had a blast....Tin Benders can put on a real party anywhere.....just one question....How will you top it for next year!....Thanks guys, and the Mickey's Secret is safe with me....I was just suprised that they would try that.....but after my virgin Johnson Valley trip anything is allowed...

Now what if the Tin Benders put on something like that in conjunction with the 4runner Jamboree, when there are alot more people down there, either on the days just before or just after the jambo (I can see people objecting to the 4runner Jamboree becoming more of a general 4x4 event, so mabey seperate events would be best) I drove down to the jambo from Oregon this spring and I'll be coming from Washington next spring, had a blast, but wouldnt mind making a longer vacation of it and Jello wrestling would just make it that much better!

...True, I'm sure it takes a lot of time and effort (and money) to arrange something like this. If admission were charged to help fund it, I'd have no problem with paying for a ticket.

From the guy who escorted the ambulances back to the site, it was a motorcyclist that got hit by another vehicle, ended up with a broken leg at least.

to the best of my knowledge, no one associated with the Roxx Bash/bender thing was in any way worse for wear (except the hang overs, and direct hits in the Roman Candle war). Tin Bender got a bit toasted lighting the 'jinga stack' of hay bales !

Come on now camo, the only ones that didn't bring rigs were Ryan (broken, can't afford parts), Phil (middle of a build up), fatkid (repairing his rig after a nasty roll a couple weeks ago), and Frosty (parting out his rig to do another one) ;)

Last year at the Carnage we got 2nd cause a couple of our guys (camo) broke there shit the night before... Thanks to the other guys (the people in question) saved us....

This year at the Carnage we SPANK'D EVERYONES ASS!!!.... Yes, even with a couple people (Camo) pointing out and a DNF....

i believe that the guy who got air lifted was a older guy who rolled his jeep cj-7 (brown) in the dry lake bed. we helped flip the rig over and the guy looked pretty messed up, he was wasted (beer) also so they were trying to get him out of there so he didnt get a DUI. kinda stupid if you ask me, definatly not worth dying for! anyways i am courios as to what ended up with him, just hope he is alright anyhow.

The TIN:skull:BENDERS dont do anything half-assed, good to hear the party was well up to club specs.

Yeah Kathy and I were really bummed that we couldnt go.
We had the truck packed and ready to go, but the Demo crew on my jobsite, went all the way until Saturday at 5:00 am to finish a project that had to be done before Monday.
We will definitely try and make it to, Frostoberfest.
