So i am currently running 4" rock krawler spring and the shocks that came with them (not sure what they are) with long radius arm front, RK front trak bar, and RK lower and RE upper short rears and trak bar bracket. I dont have a winch or any heavy armor and my jeep rides like a dump truck :barf:and i was wondering if anyone has any spring/shock suggestions. I like a soft ride and loved how it felt stock but would like some more travel for flex and go fast time. how do the v8 zj coils ride?

Procomps are very soft. Heard there was diff between the older (like i have) and the new ones which are not as good.

I have 4'' Pro Comp springs on my TJ and yes they are soft however I still run the SHITTY super stiff ES3000 shocks. I'll be switching shocks when I get it back on all 4's again.

I am running the AEV progressive rate springs. and they are awsome. Also since you have a long arm front and short rear, your rear suspension is going to be quite a bit more harsh. Cage Offroad also sells progressive rate springs in 4" lift.(AEV are 4.5") The progressive rate gives you a softer spring in the begining of travel were your road bumps will be and gets stiffer as travel increases.

So you can check them out and get a long arm under the rear end and you should be back in the lap of luxury!!!

OME's really improved my ride compared to the RE monotubes I was running years ago. Around $75 ea tho.

thanks everyone for the info! i would love to hear someone chime in on the junkyard springs like the zj v8 springs and crown vic rears. I see alot of info on ride height but not to much on the spring rates. i can change the height as long as i dont over compress them.
