i put a dent in my hood! lol :D

first run with the new buildup, went on hellhole and ET, i winched down hell hole but never got the cable tight..... walked the rest... walked all of ET, didnt get to try the last obsicle due to my buddies wheel falling off due to broken studs :eek: that was a 2 hour fix, in pouring down rain.... CJ LAGOS, thank DON again for the help.....


sunday i ran a qualifing loop....... the rocks were like ice from the rain.........2nd gear full throttle attacks, and winched twice got me up... it was awsome to whoop on it with no breakage :D i made it back down ok, a little air between the ground and my rear tires.... good trip nice to be in the saddle again, didnt get many pics, was to busy wheelin, ill post what i got when i get them loaded


and a BIG CONGRATS to my buddy JOHN, who won the BEST OF THE BEST, you deserved it JOHN! (i know your lurkin)

That's right, Stan. Definitely a unique guy but pretty cool. Stan was spanking the lower course in the finals when the left spindle seperated from the knuckle. Broke all 6 bolts. Shot of Stan just before he DQ'ed. He had a big fat ZERO points when he broke!! Easy to figure what he's thinking.

Here's John on the Finals lower course. This guy is skilled! Broke both hubs and outers[right?] at the bottom of the upper course but it was enough to win. He came down the hill (in the Casper pic) VERY fast!!:eek: :eek: WoW! Right where hill got real steep and and rocks were the biggest his spotter was heard to say "Speed is good here.":eek: That's gettin' it!

Ya, that was one hell of a weekend!!

I couldn't believe it when I heard bunny endoed into the hell hole!! THEN SHE DROVE THE REST OFF THE WAY OUT AFTERWARDS!! cudos to her man she is awsome!!

after we got back to camp and tore apart johns rig we found a broken stub shaft and hub on one side, and a broken inner axle shaft on th eother not to mention we fried the winch trying to get out!!

If you thought John came down that hill fast, you should have seen him on the trail after finally getting unstuck, he only had rear wheel drive on a mud down hill trail. We skattered and let him banzai a 7B trail at mach 10.

John and CJ did a great job in BOTB.

apparently some guy in my club said he busted a d35c shaft gettin on it goin up winch only. then later on on sunday some dkids in a rodeo pulled up while we were at the stagging area and said be careful on backcreek rd. some guy rolled his jeep and lost a wheel...i cant tell from the pic if its on 3 tires or 4, maybe he lost another 35 shaft on the road:confused:

That guy was on my trail when he broke trying to go up the winch hill. Didn't even have a chance, bounced it around and snapped a shaft in his D35. Guess he didn't get it back together the right way.

(needless to say he didn't even really get that close to the top)

Any shots of CJLagos's Jeep? I remember the buildup a few months ago but havent seen it in action.

I got some pics too that I'll post later on. Not many of me though, kind of hard to take pics and drive at the same time. Pretty happy with how I did on 10, only having to winch in that one spot (Pancake??), no breakage either :D. All I know is that there were some much more built rides than mine there, and I didn't see them running it, so :flipoff2: anyone who still says I'm a mallcruiser :D. The two broken rear blocks weren't too bad, I could have run to town and bought two more and had it fixed in a few hrs. It was the 6 wheel studs that broke on the pass side that did me in. They broke on the way back to camp, using front wheel drive. Welby should have the pic of the lift blocks. The rear third was pointing almost strait up when the spring perches crushed the hollow blocks. I'm going with a solid billet block next :D

Hollow blocks suck! I've heard some bad stories. So I guess that happened on E.T.? What do you think caused the wheel studs to break??

I had just drove down Hell Hole and the rear blocks broke on the first hill out :( I had to winch ( I have one :flipoff2: ) out. I don't know what happened to the studs :confused: I didn't even know they broke until I got back to camp. I asked luanch_it to look at the front axle because something didn't seems right. Thats when he noticed the wheel 1-2" away fron the hub and no studs. So we loaded it up on the trailer and left that evening after everyone we were there with got back to camp.

Here's the one I have of you going down Hellhole unassisted (The only one to do it, even though BAJG didn't even take up slack on the cable). I was too skeered to try that one :D

Haaaaaaaaa :flipoff2: Well someone endo'd a Bronco in that spot the day before, so I wasn't about to do the same :p. The winch was basically an anti-forward flop device. Pics don't do it justice, that's fo' sho', and you can't see the hole on the right that sent her end over end :D
