So I recently decided to do the vented rotor thing on my toy axles ,slowly getting parts together. The only thing left was the FJ rotors so i call up a good freind who works for toyota and ask for a price on some 81 and newer fj40 rotors. He tells me they should be pretty cheap cause he can get them aftermarket for $18.00 pc. I was like holy shit ya Ill gettem in awk or so. So I stop in and say go ahead order um and let me know when they come in so he calls this morning says the parts are in, and when I ask him for the total he says $159.00 I asked him if he was joking that he quted me Roughly $18.00 a pc. he says no way there isnt a toy rotor out there that cheap. I mean fawk if I would have known that I would never had ordered them right now any way or at least looked for cheaper else where. So do I just pay the restock fee and say Fawkit and get em elsewhere of take it in ^&$^@*

I got a buddy a Toyota as well and at %10 over cost I believe mine came out to like 135-140 something like 70 a piece. So it is not to far fetched. Aftermarket WILL be cheaper but how is the quality.:rolleyes:

and Im not doughting the Toy cost but shit He could have at least quoted me right I mean $17.99 is far away from $150.00, Can I pay for em ya but that means some other shit I needed is going to have to wait, Bender link material, etc.... thanx Guys and oh yeh hes some friend alright
