Coherent thought called and said, "FAIL!"
3/4 ton axles? IS that the less obvious way of saying you have a 10bolt & a semi float 14b stuffed under this thing, but don't want the hard core guys of pirate finding out about it?

Build a Doubler using an NP203 from a ford to a chevy NP205. It will be more expensive than just getting a Ford front axle from a 77-79 Ford leaf spring truck. I have all ford drivetrain in my scoutII.

what is the mounting bolt count and spline count on the zf-42/c6 i would love to do the stacked cases but do not have the income for that i have thought about doing a divorced case but am worried that that will put my t case to far back and have to steep of a drive line angle

Most ford transmissions use the same 31 spline shaft with a 6 bolt adapter. This includes the ZF5, C6, Ford t18, Ford T19, and Ford NP 435.
The adapter looks like this.

Are you sure, it could also be a T19? If it has two PTO ports it is a T19.
Yes the input shaft is a different length. IH bellhousing and shaft are much longer. The external size of the T/18 and T/19 are identical here is a picture showing the difference between the sizes of the bellhousings. The input shaft length is usually the same length as the bellhousing.

No you can't bolt the dana 20 to the ford T18 without an adapter and shortened output shaft. You can also change the input shaft from the ford to the IH. But I would still just find a ford front axle and be done with it.
