Who has done the bushing mod on bushings with the center crush ring? I have done mine, and I wanted to compare others results, not in travel, but in noise or other side effects.

I drilled on both sides of the sleeve and I believe I am possibly getting a clicking noise when I load or unload the bushings. Anyone else in this boat?

Well, not sure which bushings you have compared to mine. I have the main crush tube that the bolt passes through, but nothing else. Each bushing received two holes, one top and one bottom of crush tube. I have had no noticeable changes regarding stability or noises. Which amazes me considering all the other goofy shiatt that happens when I do simpler mods!

mine were the type with the center bolt tube, and an additional sleeve between the bolt tube and the outer shell.

Same thing with my D90, after drilling the bushing it started to have clunk noise when I hit a bump, it feels like that there is something lose.

My 110 makes that noise, it comes from the wornout bushes that I haven't replaced due to their great flex.

I have a red 90. It could be me but the last time I was in Boulder is two weekends ago.
