The way I see it is two fold. The farmers were given the land, along with the specific rights to have water, from the Government. They were to always have water. They government can not back out of this, a promise is a promise.

No fish, or any animal for that matter, is worth more than a human being. period.

It's time the people of this country stand up and hold the Gov accountable.

The GAGs even trie to buy the farmlands at pennies on the dollar. Hows that for a plan, sue the government into forcing land values to plummet, then try to buy the land dirt cheap and lock it all up.

The Stupid GAGs don't realize that all the water they sued the federal gov into turning off, has now put over 150 types of birds in jeopardy.
