: 15" DIY weld-in steel beadlock sets--just $199 DELIVERED!!!

Normal retail price is $199.95, plus shipping---and these are heavy!! Right now just $199 WITH DELIVERY INCLUDED TO YOUR DOOR.(In the 48 continental states)

The AtoZ Fabrication Do-It-Yourself weld-in bead lock kit allows you to create bead lock wheels from any standard steel wheel by simply welding a ring to the outer lip of your wheel and then bolting on the clamping outer ring. Not designed for reverse-center wheels.

Our 15" beadlock kits have 32 .375" (3/8") mounting holes for each wheel. All kits are designed for Nylock nuts and 2" long high-grade bolts. All of our beadlock kits are of the "within the lip" design for easy fitment and solid welding, and must be welded by a competent welder.

The Steel rings are CNC cut and machined from .25" (1/4") thick high-grade steel. This kit contains rings for four (4) complete wheels--four weld-in inner rings and four bolt-on outer rings. When lowing your air pressure to gain better performance off road, often the result is a tire coming off of the rim when it's least expected or needed. These bead lock kits are designed to allow you to weld the rings to your steel wheel of choice. The rings will arrive boxed and ready to weld in. You will also gain approximately 3/4" width to each wheel for better stability.

Consult your state laws for DOT regulations.

8-22-11: I saw you havent recieved input on the DIY beadlocks.Well I would like to say they turned out awsome.I used an old axle and a vice to spin the wheel while welding.Very precise fit and well balanced at 75 mph.(Not recommended by you of course). On the trail they have taken some hits that would have bent the wheel without the added strength.... thank you... Our hardware kits are kind of expensive at $99.95, but that is Fastenal yellow cadmium. If you have access to a Tractor Supply I think you can get it for around $60--I just don't have one close enough to be able to run to.

Anyway, with our hardware you would be looking at $299.90 with delivery to your door. If that works for you please call me direct to order.

There is no DOT number, if that is what you are looking for, and we have them listed as "off-highway use only" because of it. With that said, we have tons of guys running them on the street. If you trust your welding it is your call.

I can do one for $41.25, but the shipping would be stupid just due to size. To Kentucky it would likely be ~$20. Give me a call and I will see what I can do.
Thanks!

(find a buddy who needs four and I can just put the extra set for you in for no extra shipping. ;) )

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A beadlock or bead lock is a mechanical device that secures the bead of a tire to the wheel of a vehicle. Tires and wheels are designed so that, when the tire is inflated, the tire pressure pushes the bead of the tire against the inside of the wheel rim so that the tire stays on the wheel and the two rotate together. In situations where tire pressure is insufficient to hold the bead of the tire in place, a beadlock is needed.

There are several styles of beadlocks. For 4-wheel drive vehicles, a ring with a number of bolts around the circumference is used to clamp the tire to the wheel.

Fresh units available now.

Can you do custom logos/patterns? And can I get a quote for 5 15" to 95662 please?

We do not have the ability to do custom logos at a reasonable price because we have these cut in large batches and they are not done on a standard plasma table. They are cut on a Whitney multi-process machine so the bolt holes are punched for tight tolerances and no kerf. No other company does this that I know of.

For 5 15" units we can do them for Pirate members for just $249.95 if you reference this thread when you order.

The Evolution of Champions - TEAM AtoZ Fab takes Class 2 and 3 in the RCRocs Series for 2011.

The Making of Team 222 by Jim “Krawler” Smith

It is hard to believe that it was 5 years ago when Rausch Creek announced that they were going to start their own version of WeRock. My initial thought was that I wanted to be part of it, but I didn’t want to trash my Jeep, nor did I think it was built up enough to compete. So, about a week passes and Jay asked me if I was going to enter, which I quickly declined. He then asked if I would spot for him, if he decided to compete. This was my way to be a part of a team and check out the event. We both decided it would be a good idea to learn the rules and see what this type of competition was all about, by judging at a WeRock event at RC. This was a very useful tool and educational experience. There were times when we couldn’t figure out why they were doing what they were, but then we quickly saw the benefits of their strategies. We also saw attempts that failed and learned from that as well. The event gave us ideas on what we wanted to accomplish as competitors. We went into the first practice session with high hopes of kicking ass, but we were knocked off our mountain with a broken OBA belt and snapped driveshaft. This made us sit back and really think about what is needed to do well in this event. We had to do the opposite of our normal trail riding. Instead of trying to make the most difficult path with no assistance, we needed to pick the easiest way and stack rocks if needed. We carried this information into the one and only event for the 2007 year. I think there were 15 competitors in Class 2 that year and all seemed to be a good bunch of guys. It was a very cold day with snow still on the ground, which made the courses very interesting. Each time we hit the course, we learned something else about our abilities and the Jeeps potential. We ended up going into the shootout with a large enough lead that we didn’t have to run it, but sitting it out was not in our nature. We proceeded to hit the drop off that claimed 3 out of 5 vehicles in front of us and completed it like we have done it many times before. My wife even commented that someone behind her initially said, “why are they going that way, didn’t they see what happened to the other vehicles”, but they quickly followed up with, “well I guess that is why they are in first place”!!!!

It was an awesome competition and we made a bunch of friends that day. Neither of us ever thought that most of them would continue to become better friends over the next 4 years and bring tough competition to each and every event. We thank you all for making this series such a great time.

4 years later, a ton of upgrades to the Jeep and memories of successful and destructive strategies, we are sitting as 4 time RCRocs Class 2 champs. “Rock On Team 222”
