Directions dont really say much...I Lookd at another one & they say to just cut the neg cable & wire this in between...
Is that right or would I have to do the Pos??

If you want to be able to kill the whole rig with that switch, you will want to put it in the pos battery cable then put your alternator chage cable on the battery. That way, when you ht the switch, you kill both battery power and alternator power.

With no doors I just want to kill the power so jerks cant flip a switch & kill my batt....I have nothing that needs momory

I'm assuming you don't have a winch, or if you do, it's not also fed through that switch. It won't have the ampacity to supply a winch properly.

When I get to mine itll be the positive cable. I dont remember what one I have, but got it after a friend of mine had a solenoid stick on his winch and it wouldnt release at almost stall out. Had a little smoke, but got the power cut before catastrophe set in.

They can actually handle the ful amp load starter, winch, etc...

If you're running one of 12volt guys panels, put it on the positive side. several here are draining their batteries due to these panels and using the negative side on the switch.
