They are here and ready for shipment we have already sold our first 20 joints and were waiting for our large shipment to come in before introducing to pirate. Meet the Excalibur:

AMERICAN MADE BILLET 300M

Cross is made from heat treated billet 300m and cryo treated. Caps are 4340 also heat treated and cryod. There is no bushing inside the cap, we saw no reason for a bushing as the bushing is non replaceable, and in order to include the bushing, something has to get smaller, a thin wall brass bushing gets beat up and wears quickly, to make the bushing thicker you have to decrease the size of the leg or the thickness of the cap, which ultimately weakens the joints. Instead of using a bushing we surface hardened everything and then finely polished the cap and cross, then coated the legs with an anti-wear agent. These do require grease so that they do not gall the coating but these are built to last a lifetime. However if you do not grease them we have rebuild kits available in 2 options, standard caps and undersize caps, the undersize caps are available so if the cross does get galled it can be re-polished and the undersize caps can be installed. We deem these joints unbreakable. And dare you try. We are developing a fixture to torsionally test these joints that is stronger than the joint which is no easy task. Right now the only way to test is by installing in shafts, but there is no shafts on the market that can break these joints. The Dana 44 and Dana 60 joints are ready to ship immediately.

D60 $190 a piece Free shipping
D44 $155 a piece Free Shipping

The name Excalibur apparently derives ultimately from the Welsh word Caledfwlch which combines the elements caled ("battle, hard"), and bwlch ("breach, gap, notch"). These are truly ready for battle.

I never said anything about him not standing behind the product. I was making note that there are a couple of yahoo's out there/here that will mount a set of 44" boggers on a rear steer 700hp buggy just so they can come on here and brag they broke em. I don't doubt the quality of them either. Especially now that I know RCV is the maker of them.

you still have to wrap a shaft around the joint to hold up..........but im sure they are breakable, and ill be more than happy to hand you a new one if you do. Were warrating alot of shafts do to Ujoint failures so rest assured these are helping the warranty dept.

Dana 44 and 60's are in stock and ready to ship.

Havent these already been tested by Bobby Long or are these somehow made differently now from Bobby's design? This is a bit confusing. Your discription of them as well as look and style are the same .....only difference is the name. Whats makes these different. Just curious. I run Bobby's 60 joints and they are awesome. If these are better I might have to try some out. Shipping to 98580
