The tires are, yes. Even my 54" Boggers are DOT approved.

The tires are US DOT legal, but each state DOT can have it's own tire size limits.

In Washington if the tire has a DOT stamp and a minimum tread depth, you can run it on the street. Your bumper and headlights have to meet a certain height making most vehicles with 44"+ tires non street legal. So the tires are legal but the vehicles are not. Check your local laws.

now if we could just make it a rule that you have to post boobies with every dumb question that would mix the best of both fun worlds for me and I could drink a beer and look at boobies and stupid questions all at the same time.
