: Chev. D60 Q

On a Chev D60, does the caliper bracket mount between the knuckle and the spindle (as Ford D44), or does the caliper bracket mount ontop(after) the spindle (as Chev. D44)??

The caliper bracket should be OUTBOARD of the spindle.

Anyone with a more definate answer??(or is this definate?) And how many spindle bolts are there, 5 or 6??

it does go outboard of the spindle....look at the bbottom of my web page for a exploded view http://www.shakerbuilt.com/Dana_60.html Depending on which make you have Chevy/Dodge have 6 bolt spindles but Ford have 5 bolts.....
