I was just at the SC's site (you know, know thine enemy!) and saw a link to National Monuments. For the Arizona (and maybe for other states as well) there are links to email state BLM managers as well as Interior Secretary Gale Norton and Pres. Bush...
There is a pre-typed form, you just lock-step with these eco-nazis and your canned message will be sent, But the stupid greenie elitist bastards forgot to write-protect the form, you can type in anything you want!! Here's what I wrote:
Dear President Bush:
It has come to my attention that your administration is considering modifications to the status and management of the recently designated National Monuments in Arizona and elsewhere. This is EXCELLENT news...
Arizona’s new National Monuments were TAKEN under an archaic law by then-President Clinton. With no public feedback or interest in the real opinions of the citizens of Arizona, who enjoy these lands for many uses, these National Monuments have effectively locked-out a large portion of legitimate users. Groups such as the Sierra Club are elitists who desire that only THEIR uses be allowed. Not only is this discriminatory it is elitist and mean-spirited in the extreme.
I urge you to NOT support these National Monuments and allow ALL types of recreational uses such as Off-Highway Vehicles (Motorcycles, 4x4s, etc) and not just hiking.
Thank You
Sincerely,
Marc Sahr
