I'm thinking about unloading my current never going to get done project and looking at a '95 F250 Powerstroke. Ad says it's got a lift and 35" tires and a warn hub conversion. Is this some kind of Funky front end axle with the TTB or whatever or would this be a leaf sprung 60 under the front? Like the title says, I'm a ford noob, but I'm dying to get out and wheel already and it looks like a pretty decent truck to do it with.

thanks

F-250 is TTB unless someone swapped in a 60

Warn hubs are no biggie, they came with Warns from the factory (not the "premiums" tho) unless it had auto hubs originally

Rumor has it that the stock lockouts share internals with the Warn premiums tho

dont know what the $$price$$ is, but its possible you could find the same truck without lift in a F-350 and still be the same height or close and get a 60 for the same $$price$$

94-97 F250 = Dana 50 TTB with leaf springs. TTB is fine at stock ride height, but a lifted leaf spring ttb would be more trouble than its worth.

i agree with urjb, save your money and find an F350 of the same year range

It's not a rumour, Warn 30 spline D60 hubs share the same internals, the only difference between a standard and a premium is the cap and dial, check the part numbers in Warn's service parts listings....

If you're looking for a wheeling rig, try and find a 350.

from everything i have read a d60 swap from a leaf spring ttb is pretty much a bolt in swap since i beleive the f-350s d60 has the same spring perches as the 250 springs

Also you can run a late 80's kingpin Dana 60 which will bolt right in and loose the ball joint front if its gonna be a trail rig.
