It took me 10 years to find them, but we do actually have rocks in Canada.

Since these are the only ones I've ever found, I drove on them.

is there anywhere to go near vancouver? i took my bronco to white rock and jumped over the train tracks to get our bonfire wood there :flipoff2:

Yes to the Star Trek thing, that's where I got it.

...and yes, there are more rocks than that, but we generally have miles and miles (or kilometres and kilometres) of mud. More mud than you can ever want. Mud, mud, mud. I live at the car wash.

There's lots of places to wheel in and around the Vancouver area.

Check out bc4x4.com and I am sure some of the Vancouver guys on this board will jump in to let you know where to wheel in BC. I'm in Alberta, which is about 10 hours away.

How far from Waterton National Park are you? Plenty of rocks there :D

I realize that the maritimes, and especially Cape Breton, is certainly unique, and slightly different from the rest of Canada, but we have plenty of rocks.

I lived in Waterton for a couple of years (originally from Alberta), don't think the park rangers would be too happy with anyone wheeling in there, rocks or not. Mind you, there's so few of them now, you'd be hard pressed to actually find a park ranger anymore.

We got rocks here in New Brunswick, but you usually find them half way through a mudhole! WHAM!

Stream beds are rocky and a few big areas are too, but mostly mud and trees. Here the alders grow so fast trails dissappear in a year or two if not maintained.

problem with rocks in BC is that it isnt usually a desert here.
so the rocks are covered in growth,
that and the sheer size of the province and that it is relatively devoid of population

Of course there's no rock in the prairies, there's no mountains. Come to Vancouver Island and you'll be rewarded with rocks.:D
