This is a reminder for those you that compete -ask to be included in the Competitor Roundtable forum....
It is there for the promoters and actual competitors to openly discuss anything regarding the competition side of Rock Crawling
I'm not sure what promoters are there, but Lil and I are available on this forum, as well as by phone, e-mail or pm's.
We post event information, rule ideas and other matters that the competitors need to know about.
We can also find questions there easier than wading through each post in this forum

We need to clarify that there are TWO seperate forums for competition only.

One is the "Competitors Only" forum and as the title says, it is a place where competitors can discuss things without the public or promoters or anyone else beyond current competitors can see.

The second is the "Competition Roundtable" forum and that is an area where the promoters, judges, and competitors can see, to discuss rules and event formatting out of the eyes of the public.

When do you use a certain forum over another? If you're a competitor and want other competitors' opinions without the can of worms that can come from addressing everyone on the planet, use the "Competitors Only" forum. When you have a situation that you want to bring to the attention of the promoters, or need a clarification on a rule or event formatting issue, or judge's call, but we don't want the can of worms that comes from parties that don't have a vested interest in the outcome, use the "Competition RoundTable" forum. Finally, if you have a subject that would be important to everyone, including the general public, post it here, in the normal "Competitions and Events" forum.

If you're a competitor and need access to the hidden forums, send a PM to Lance telling him your screenname, your team name, YOUR name, your team number, and where you compete, then ask to be added to the list for the hidden competitor forums. You may have to send him a reminder a couple days later as he is not always around to make it happen...much of Pirate's business can be handled by others but in the case of the hidden forums, Lance is the one that handles it.
