Does anyone know a great website to read about the specifics of the Camel Trophy race? I'm looking for rules and regs, truck specifics, limitations, team sites, maps...anything and everything.
If anyone knows any sites that have documented the build up of a trophy truck, please point me in that direction too.

Camel trophy was many years "the ultimate off-road race" but I was very dissapointed when I heard that last event has not been off-roading at all:( :mad: only some water actions with differend boats etc.

I think the Camel Trophy series is no more, and there are no plans to bring it back.

Yup, they are right. Camel died off a few years ago. They switched from LR's to Hondas, and a completely different format. More like those 'Eco-challenge" TV races. It cut the nads right off the Camel Trophy. If ANYONE says LR's are just imported grocery getters, show 'em the trophy videos!!

Well damn, that's all news to me. The G4 challenge looks like a bunch of crap with no balls. Do you all know if anyone is trying to bring something as hard core as the Camel Trophy back?
