What are the specs on your rig?

K5runner@hotmail.com
10-30-2009, 10:45 AM
496 BBC EFI (Accel DFI) 465 w/dual disc clutch 203 205 all 32spl (clocked up) D60 all 35 14B 4.88's lockers. 2.5"x16" race runner C/O's with triple rates (50,150,250 rear, tender 15lb maybe,250,350 front) King 2"x4"travel bumps all around. 3-link front with panhard bar 4-link rear all lowers are 2"x.250 wall chromoly uppers are 1.75"x.120" DOM. wheel base is 125"ish width is about 92" with the new 42's. The hole thing was built by me in my parents garage over the course of 8 years. Of course we wheeled it during the different stages. Oh and the SolTek lights kick ass, there so fucking bright.
But there is still stuff to do build a hood, skin the blazer, add a rack for crap, build a bracket for my nitrogen bottle, add rear bedsides, and on and on. I'm sure that it will never finish, but like my brother says "you fucking like working on it more than you like driving it" I think he's right.

I also just got 2 40" MTR's shaved down and had paddels installed on them. I think the truck is going to look bad ass with the paddels on the raceline monster wheels I got. I will post some pics later.

Skat-trak is the only company that will do it. But you need to have all your info. Weight, HP to the wheels (on the dyno), gearing that kind of stuff. I have a 496 EFI that's 11:1 with a roller cam. But buy the time it goes through the 465,203,205,.250 wall 2.5" dom drive shafts, it only put out 390HP to the wheels. This is a 600+HP motor.
They charge buy the paddle, I got a 7-paddle on some 40" MTR's but they recommend using bias ply tires. I couldn't find 40"-42"tires for cheep (after all I'm going to have them shaved down) Oh and they don't (will not) do 16.5" tires 15,16,17 only. Oh and no dry rot.

Yeah, I only have about 350HP right now, but when I do my aluminum heads, roller rockers, different fuel injection, I intend to be around 424-450. It does pretty good in the sand now but I would love more. Thanks for the info

just a charlynne orbital valve off of a combine I can get a part number off of it if you want this weekend? But you are basically looking for one with an open center, that will allow the fluid to flow through when you are not steering that way you don't dead head the pump.

If you look at the sky it was raining at my house but not a cloud in the sky in brawley. Ha. Ya and the last one is from Glamis Thanksgiving maybe 2007?

I know how ya feel. Just as soon as your done you look at it and want to change something. Mine came apart from the A pillar forward after we were half way in. Just to change 2 bends, which of course changed the lengths of all the tube around it. Theres a few things I would change about mine, but overall its what I want.

Ha ha, yeah I know what you mean. I could also raise up the sides, make some changes on the front, and who know what else. I guess at a point you just say screw it and go wheel. :D

I was really tempted to paint my truck that way but I ended up going with the almost OD green.
