My solution: I bookmarked the archive page. Every day or two I surf over there, scan through the titles of the 100 or 200 new messages, and read the one or two that appear somewhat interesting. Takes two minutes, and I don't hasten the premature demise of my delete key. :p

I just spoke with Tom Quinn, whose company (danger.com) donates the bandwidth for birfield.com. The same routing problem at the AT&T data center that we had a week or so ago has cropped up. You can see it if you do a traceroute to birfield.com - it dies at AT&T. I'm patiently waiting for news, but there's nothing I can do to bring back birfield.com / tlca.org right now.
