yardbird 09-24-2002, 07:39 AM Anyone have any opinions on carpet kits? I have an 84 FJ60 that I am restoring and the carpet and interior will be next on the agenda. I have seen a couple of places online that sell complete kits, but I want to know if anyone has purchased any of these and if they were of good quality. Jtoutfitters.com sor.com coolcruisers.com all seem comparable but not exactly like the oem carpets that came in the truck (different materials) Jt used to have the best price and they threw in the tailgate piece when others didn't. check those websites for the latest and compare prices. (60SeriesGuy) once told me about. Cruiser Ken 09-24-2002, 07:55 PM Had one of the grey JT kits in my FJ60 for about 2 years. It faded pretty bad and showed a fair amount of wear. I also have a JT kit for my 82 FJ40. It is the deluxe kit. It seems to be holding up better, but then I have put less than 1000 miles on it in the last year and the FJ60 was getting 12k+ a year. | |
