I`m trying to find out what its gonna take to hook up a fuel cell in my yukon. I`m tired or the 30 gallon roach terd hanging up under it.
I`ve got a 15 gallon plastic tank with a filler neck right dead center of the tank and a port on either side of it. It came out a jeep with a carb. I`ve been reading and the fuel pump people say to use is a E-8248. Is this true and can I just take my factory lines loose from my tank and tie into them with some AN lines and run them to the tank. Then wire up the pump off my old plug? I Use one as a pickup and one as return right. I could just drill a hole and add a vent line right?
Thanks

They sell slip-on to AN fittings check summit out should have the Russell ones. Then Wire your pump into the stock one and ground it good. Then just run a vent up high and delete the EVAP lines.

Slip-on? Not sure about that one or the EVAP lines?
Do I have to run a filter between the pump and tank or can I just let the factory filter on down the frame well do the work.
Will that pump work ok with favtory regulator?
Sorry for so many questions here just brand new to this EFi fuel stuff.

Fuck, it would need to be something that slid into the fittings going to the engine. Sorry I was thinking the other way.
The regulator should be on the fuel rail for the Vortec 350 right at the intake.
The filter on the frame should work but its nice to have a pre-filter for the pump.
You need these

Oh, hell I think I was having the brain fart. I was thinking the factory lines screwed in on top of the tank for some damn reason. I thought about buying a sending unit and cutting a hole for it to. You think my factory guage will accept it? Or are they even worth fucking with. I heard they read wrong half the time.

It should work as long as its the same resistance range as the stock sender.
I can't remember the ohms requirement the sender should be of the top of my head to match the gauge. Just measrue the resistance of the stock sender and get one that match that will drop in the tank.
Why not buy a dedicated fuel cell? Safer and should come ready to go.
