I'm running YJ's front and rear and love everything about them except the approach angle. What should I do. Coil or Toy rear spring swap to move my front axle forward.

Ideas..........

Jas

Anyone wanna post my pics?????

Like Dave says, shackle reverse. I put a traction bar in back and got rid of my missing links back there to take care of bending the rear ones. There's a picture of my front end here. (http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&postid=870062#post870062)

I do have a missing link in the rear but have never bent them. I have a track bar that keeps everything cool in the rear. The front I just trashed my 5th pair of YJ's. I'm thinking of swapping to a set of toyota rear springs since they are the same length but have a 4" off denter locating pen.

I couldn't find the pic I thought I had of the front approach angle so I sent some others......... (thanks Arizona Zuk)

I'm debating a shackle reversal or coils......... If I can get the approach angle right the leave sure are easier and less upkeep.....

Thanks
Jas

I just recently got my front springs figured out. I used a stock set of toy rears and two leaves from 2.5" lift YJ's and its working good. still VERY soft hopefully shocks will help it from flying around everywhere. I was coming from the regular YJ's and the front tire just barely rubs now. much nicer.

Aren't Toyota springs only 2" wide and YJ's 2.5"???
If so- how are you using 2 different width springs in the same pack????
