looks good. I like simple. Nice, clean and straight to the point. Similar to what I did, but not to the stock dash.

Looks good, i like the autometers better but ill try these and see how they are. I wired up the turn signals and high beam indicators, i used 5/16 round green lights for the turn signals and a blue one for the high beams. Everything works good so far like it should. I put the turn signals where they use to be and the high beam between them where the shifted selector use to be, so one in each side and the other between them. Next ill make a plate for the stereo and one for around the light/wiper switches to put switches for offroad lights / winch / and other accessories.

I love the ide for the turn signals and high beams. I think I might have to add that. All of the switches in the center run all of my lights and stuff. I am going to put in dash winch controls. There are 11 switches and 3 cigarette lighters in the center now. Please post a pic of the blinkers and high beams

Ok ill post them up when the rain stops here, the lights were cheap(2.00) . I wired them into the factory harness and the work real nice.

Looks good. Does that just go over theplastic or does it delete it all together?? Can't really tell. Looks like an overlay to me. I like it.

looks real good reguardless. Who cares if they aren't AutoMeter. They will work just as good.

Thanks guys... Yes its an overlay i made out of 1/8 sheet alluminum, it fits just inside the lip on the bezel, all the rest besides that is deleted, i made alluminum brackets / braces for the top so i could remove all the plastic insides. Then i cut the holes in the sheet alluminum 2 1/16 and 3 3/8, i cut the stock bezels origional holes all out and used short self tappers at the bottom and longer machine screws at the top to put the brace on the back with lock nuts. Then the overlay is the new dash the guages mount too.....

Also i have a real nice 78 brown dash pad and door pannels but my trucks an 83 i wonder how it would look....any ideas...

I think the metal dash part is different also so it may not line up like you want. Of course i could be wrong in my assumption.

Green on each side for turn signals and the blue in the center for high beams, for these you use a 5/16 drill bit and they snap in real nice. Just a ground and a power .....

I really like the attention to detail. I got lazy on mine and didn't want to go through the effort of tracing out the lights. Now I have too :D

Thanks, i think it came out real good. The speedos a different story tho, its almost 20 miles an hour off. It shows 40 when your going 60 ...lol I used the factory harness for the lights. For the fuel guage i ran a new set of wires to the sending unit. The oil pressure guage reads up to 80 pounds my motor has a 100 reved up, that guage gets buried. Almost has 5 miles on it, thats low mileage for an 83.........lol lol.........one more thing the lights are less than 2 bucks a piece at radio shack.
