I always remove the radio gear then spray with simple green let it soak about 5 min and spray it off. Then dry it with compressed air and put the radio gear back.

X2 on the Simple Green. I used compressed air on the vehicle itself and remove the tires and clean them with Simple Green. This stuff returns the tires to like new condition.

if you have some nasty stuff on it, (make sure its waterproof) i just use carb cleaner, brake cleaner, or even a dishwasher!
