so i bought my k5 with no front drive line and broken yokes at the t-case and front diff. I've managed to get all my parts together to hook the system back together but i have some questions before i start bolting things together and breaking things. the 203 t-case is leaking from the front output shaft and the front diff (10 bolt I believe) is leaking from the input shaft, i grabbed both seals but the guy at baxters said that the 203 seal pops right in but the diff had to be done a specific way as not to mess with the gearing he just didn't know how. is this true or can i just bolt it in? second question is the 203 is a full time 4wd system with 4 hi and 4 low. I want to get rid of my auto hubs and install my warn manual hubs so i can keep it in 2wd around town do i need anything else or will the system be fine in 4 hi and the hubs in free spin?

Don't waste money on the 203, I have one and they suck. 205's are plentiful, cheap (around here), way stronger, and have 2x4

Or better yet keep the front half of the 203, buy a doubler, then put the 205 on.

when you pull the front diff yoke to replace it pull the old seal put the new one in and reinstall the yoke. You may need a new crush sleeve as well, sometimes you can reuse the old one but it is better to use a new one. I would advise spending the $25 on a chiltons manual so you have all your torque specs.

get the part time kit otherwise you will have to drive a round in Hi Loc which will ruin the transfer case over time. as far as the front diff just count the threads showing before you remove the nut so you know how far to tighten it after you replace the seal.
