ok smarta**.. so.. exactly where on here does it say that you can use a fawking + to get accurate hits on " dana 70" ?

I did search.... i'm not a total DAN. maybe this little tidbit of info would help keep the DAN questions down a bit?

when searching for "dana and 70" like the fawkin search page SAYS TO DO i come up with 370 topics with very little info.. now with you're little UNMENTIONED "+" in there the results are a bit better..

Dont give me shit for following the instructions.

Oh , and thanks for the links.
those helped

I just used DANA 70 - and found all you needed to know. The "+" is a boolean search feature I believe. And please don't get any sand in your man-gina - I made sure every link I posted answered your question. :D

Yeah, I sifted through the 1st 22 pages of the 382 topics when I searched "Dana 70", but got some good info before I bought mine. (Yeah, I use the Search button....that's why my post count is so low :flipoff2:)

Answer to the question is: Yes, they are very worthwhile, I prefer them over the 14 bolt, clearance better than 14B, can be shaved, lotz of gear selection, FF, yada yada...Yeah, do some homework to be sure you get what you want (35 spline, etc.) They are harder to find as I stumbled over a whole lotta 14-bolts looking for my D70. Once I found the right JY, there were at least 3 on the rack....

Downfall: No spool available (hoping someone chimes in otherwise), but good locker choices if you choose not to weld the spiders....Bottom line, a winner axle :D
