Very cool product. Will be available in 6 lug? Will have a bolt on spindle that could be used on a steering knuckle? Will the spindle be large enough for 40 spline shafts?
Thanks Derek

Those requirements are being met in a different project and should be ready for release in 1-2 months.

Thanks - Jeff

Not that I should help anyone out and lower my chances of winning, but people need to make sure that they're posting in the other thread, not this one to be eligible.

Are these out of 6061 or 7075? Website says 7075- just confirming.

That is why I was asking. Website say $514 for a pair of hubs. 7075 is going for around $4-4.40/lb for cold formed 7-7.5" round stock. Including the material machined off two hubs- there is about $260-300 in 7075 alone, Throw in 16 thread inserts for $60-90, hardware, anodizing, etc. I'm thinking $350-400 in material/parts alone. Add in machine time & cost- not to mention R&D etc....trying to figure out how you are making money on them. :smokin::eek:

I have been amazed at the prices I've received on a few custom deals from Ballistic. I'm not sure how they're making any money either, but I just leave it at that. :p

I don't pay nearly that much for the raw material, but I understand where you're coming from.

Are you guys using domestic cold formed 7075, or extruded import 7075. Extruded import goes for almost half, but my understanding is that it does not have the same strength characteristics.
