Will you sell your ride

If you have enough money...sure :flipoff2:

Seriously...over Tellico? No. Sure, I really enjoyed Tellico and hope we get it back but its not the only place to ride. Royal Blue, Wind Rock, Jellico, Harlan, Wheeling in the Country, Sparta...etc, etc. Why, are you considering selling yours?

The problem is if we give up the fight for Tellico they will likely look to the next place and so on. We have to fight tooth and nail for every inch or risk losing every where one by one.

I've already sold...6 4x4's since Tellico started closing...each one cheaper than the last...and my 40' trailer and my Dodge tow rig...but I'll be back
:mad2:

In the mean time I'll keep hounding the enemy's of the American public.

Amen! For me it's not so much about Tellico as it is holding our government accountable for their actions there! The FS has an agency mandate to manage the Forests for multiple use recreation. They recognize OHV trails as a viable use. The FS obviously did not do their job if they did not manage the trails well enough to keep them open for a recognized viable use. Mis-management and mis-appropriation of funds, both serious affronts to the American public, is how the FS has operated in Tellico for many years. They HAVE to be held accountable to the people they serve!

If the Tellico OHV area is the sole purpose of anyone having a 4WD to wheel and now your selling it because its closed, well thats simply rediculous.

I'm sure it would be ridiculous for most people. I'm pretty sure 4 of the 5 shops around here sold off stuff to make ends meet while this drama plays out. Thats the way the cookie crumbles

I'll just go to Mountain City or Harlan for the fun stuff. I stil have URE for a day run.

I'll be going kayaking! Of course I haven't had a Tellico capable rig in about 4 years.

Kayaking is probably the best alternative.I agree 100%

Wheel other parks/lands that are still open.

Continue to fight to keep what we can and wheel while there is places to do so.

Since I try to hit different places every year for my big trip, one place closing doesn't end my wheeling options at all.
