Dana 60 Read Hub Seal [Archive]

OK, noobie here. I have a 73 vintage dana 60 rear axle under rebuild. I am having a heck of a time with the inner hub seal. Its almost like I have a hub with a 1/2 metal lip preventing me from removing the seal. All the other folks I have seen using search seem to have a very small lip that holds the seal...am I nuts :smokin:?

ok, i got it with a bearing puller with a slide hammer. What a SOB to remove.
