Is there any way to set up a booth on the road to the lake bed to take donations to help fight the closure. I know you can set up a booth on the lake bed but there are alot of people who mean to go over and donate but they get busy or just forget. So a booth on the way in would be a good way to get people as they come in. Just think if everyone donated 1 dollar! This is just a thought. I dont even live close to Johnson valley but we have been coming down for all the koh's and to wheel and i would even donate my time for a day to man the booth. Just a idea. Garrett

There's room right off of Hwy 247 and the corner of Boone Rd. That is the common entrance to the area. Or you could set up by the bridge further in (Could camp there too).

First, let me say that I appreciate your interest and enthusiasm.

FOJV is working on our plan for a presence at KOH. I'm sure that we will have some type of booth space in the vendor area. We will definitely consider your idea to set up on the inbound road. The problem is that KOH is a week long event with people coming in day and night over several different days. I'm just not sure that we can get enough volunteers to man two locations. Once we have firmed up our plan and the event gets closer I'm sure that we will be posting up looking for volunteers to help us staff our location(s).
