In person it looked super bad ass and ready for anything. 2 spares on the back behind the KTM - and a mini hoist to lift the huge tires off. NICE!
People were in it when I was snapping the pics -- so I didn't get too close.
sawzallsammy 10-25-2009, 06:17 PM you should have asjed for a tour of the inside. That is a pretty sweet ride
Todd W 10-26-2009, 12:29 PM Awesome rig :smokin:
Grim Reaper 10-26-2009, 05:04 PM Saw pictures of it before on EXPO. Somebody talked to them at the beginning of summer and found out a little about them. They are on a world tour of sorts. Last I heard they had gone up to Alaska and were headed to South America. You must have caught them on their way back down running from winter.
RustyNailJustin 11-12-2009, 07:22 AM Man thats cool, must be here touring the USA.
scottsolinko 11-28-2009, 07:02 PM Ya they are germans. Check out the "D" on the license plate. I'm 99% sure the D is for germany.

85blue4runner 12-18-2009, 08:13 AM ^^ specs or pics on the Redbull Pinzie TDI? Didnt see it on the site..
how would the Mercedes truck pictured above be registered here since we never got that model truck here? (Assuming its not 25 years old, which it doesnt appear to be)
that would be a killer rig to have for that price...

Not sure what the 25 year old thing has to do with anything, but a non-resident can bring with them a vehicle for personal use that doesn't comply with U.S. safety and emission standards for up to 1 year.
85blue4runner 12-29-2009, 03:56 PM previous link says its located in LA and its for sale, so either you buy it and export it out of the country, take it on safari, etc., someone over seas buys it and the year/model doesnt matter or someone here buys it and they have to figure out how to keep it here somehow?

Love the Pinzgauer on your site Scott!
singham 01-01-2010, 04:55 PM Hi Guys,
It is quite common for us to sell vehicles that will eventually be exported and taken on safari. Even though the truck is in the LAX area, it is on a temporary importation and will be exported from the states. This vehicle is NOT a viable option for federalization in the United States. That being said, this is a perfect vehicle for an extended expedition. As is common with this type and is the case with this truck, the current owners are ending their multi-continent journey and the truck will begin a new journey when it sells.
Cheers,
Scott Ingham
Geronimo1/5th 01-09-2010, 05:52 AM Thats what all the Hajis drive for semi trucks over here, im trying to figure out how I can steal one and bring it back
