so I was just wondering if anyone had looked into getting rockwell parts at napa or fleet pride or any other parts supplier that has heavy truck parts. i'm looking mainly for seals, bearings and races, and replacement steer axle u joints. call me cheap but ordering parts from other states and paying shipping when there are 4 napa's one of which is a warehouse store within 20 mins of home doesn't seen sane to me. let me know and if you have part #'s that would be cool too

Seems that is a wasted post. Have you called these places to see if they carry the parts you need? That should have been your first move. Then, if they do, you could post that they do. If they don't.....:shaking:

Search for the rockwell thread, it has a good list of part numbers, I know for my bigger stuff,(5 ton toploaders) I've been able to cross referance all the bearing/race and seal numbers to stuff I can buy off the shelf.
I've found that most truck shops are useless though, they don't usually have the right catalogs, but if you take them a part number they can cross it over. You'd be surprised how much stuff was used on other applications and is readily available and cheap.
