jcanada 10-26-2009, 05:27 PM 87 22re with msd 6a, pulled truck into drive way and it sat for about 2mths. try starting it with full battery and it turns just wont fire. Checked for spark, no spark, changed wires plugs rotor cap coil and computer no luck. My cold start injector was bad but would this cause no spark.? Will the truck start with a bad cold start injector? jcanada 10-27-2009, 01:31 PM getting 12v into msd(large red wire) getting 12v small, 12v at the distributer wire connector from ignitor. How many volts should i get at the orange wire from the msd 6a box that connects to positive on coil. Also with the key on when i have the volt meter hooked to the red wire that goes to the distributer-ignitor wires i get 12v but when i move the coil-ignitor bracket it drops to 0. The coil-ignitor bracket, should that be grounded metel to metal? | |
