WillyPete 09-18-2001, 11:45 PM how much would you guys pay for a 60/70 combo from a M715? the truck is totally gutted, otherwise i'd try to save it. the axles still have the original 5.87s and closed knuckled drums. later High5 09-19-2001, 12:59 AM not much. the dana70 has the old weaker coarse splines and the 60 is closed knuckles with drum brakes. also i have heard (don't know for sure) that the 60 in those things are not 35 spline. UPS trucks use the same size. spare rims are no problem, the guy has about 8 just lying around. wouldn't it be possible to just swap the axleshafts so i could have front disc with the 60? what do you mean by coarse spline? i was thinking of offering maybe $80 for the 60 and $100 for the 70. good price range? | |
