I have searched and i can't figure out how to get the dipstick tube to stay in the hole on the block. I have a 3rz, bought the 2wd t-100 oil pan, and all of the parts but do I need a coupler like 90405-10033. I see it mentioned on when this is used with the 6 cylinder engine but haven't found it referenced for the 4 cylinder. Any help would be appreciated. I am waiting on this before I can put this car back together. cheers ian

As far as the block goes, it just a press in.(Hammer time) but what coupler are you talking about. If the motor is from a Tacoma you just need the Oil pan. Are you talking about the oil pick up tube???
Need more info.

So it is a tacoma 3rz 1996. I found the new hole where the pickup dipstick tube goes, on the drivers side near the motor mount. So I just hammer the pickup (dipstick) tube in until it is snug? when someone puts the t-100 oil pan on the six cylinder, they mentioned using this coupler between the pickup tube
