I have a chance to buy a f250 77 model for 800.00 dollars. It has a 351 cleveland motor, heavy duty d44 front axel 410 gears standerd trans with devorced np205 transfer case body is in fairly good shape imside is in great shape. Also comes with all the new parts to make it into a 400 stroker motor. Lots off new parts for the motor . Should i buy it or should i continue with my 460 swap in my 73 f250 4x4 my truck is all apart right now. Just need som ideas guys

sounds like a nice piece for 800. i like old body fords, if it runs, drives o.k., i say get it.
btw the motor unless swapped in would be a "m" motor, thus a 351m/400 is the same motor with a different crank and piston, definately put the 400 together... .02

As for the motor decisions, it really depends on your driving style, and how the rest of your rig is set up, and what kind of wheeling you want to do with it.
