The California Coastal Commission is hearing an appeal from Nell Langford, who
is an absentee landlord at Pier Avenue in Oceano. Langford is trying to have
YOUR access to the beach closed off, by appealing the grading permit for the
Pier Avenue ramp. Langford has considerable backing from the Sierra Club and
Environmental Defense Center, who have a $200,000 bankroll to kick all the
vehicles off the beach in Pismo and Oceano.

I repeat: You must FAX your comments to the California Coastal Commission at
831- 427-4877 by 5 pm today, July 9!

The California Coastal Commission is meeting in Santa Rosa on July 12, and the
only time you can comment on this action is NOW, by FAXING TODAY!

Tell them who you are, and why you want to see the ramp continue to be graded.
For example:

My name is _________________ and I use the sand ramp at Pier Avenue in Oceano to
access the beach for recreation. The ramp is very important to me and to my
family, as it is the best way for us to see and use the public beach in Oceano.
Please allow State Parks to continue to allow the public access to the beach by
removing loose, soft sand from this important public accessway.

been blindsided by the extreme environmentalists, who knew about this meeting
and told only their legions, who are bent on stripping you from your access to
