Here goes....

(1) Am setting up a kickdown cable on a TBI unit. The kickdown cable is PULLED (as opposed to let go) when the throttle is mashed, correct?

(2) Where the kickdown cable enters the tranny housing...is there supposed to be an o-ring or gasket there?

(3) Any problems with using rubber vacuum line for the modulator? I read one source that claimed it would collapse so suggested using steel line.

Detent cable must be pulled to downshift. Been a while but I recall there is an oring on the white? nylon? end piece on the cable. Vacumm line should work--possibly the thicker fuel line may be a better option.
