I'm sure most will agree with me that icon will be your best bet. They sell a hanger kit and all there stuff i pretty top notch. A little pricey but you get what you pay for.

not really, you will get many opinions on this, but on 4/6" stuff, we would cut and sleeve the stock bar w/heavy tube and tig it, never had one come apart, ever. if you leave the bar stock legnth, it will pull the axle off to the drivers side and usually bend shackles or fubar bushings. once you get to 10" you must do a crossover steering and pan bar kit. dont forget the drop pitman arm and loctite the damn nut..

Icon 4.5" Plush Ride system. Comes with front hanger/shackle kit, box kit (pitman arm, upper trac bar bracket, sway bar links, bumpstops), rear blocks/u-bolts (or we can swap out for springs), and their custom valved nitrogen charged shocks. It WILL ride better than stock, with a lifetime warranty on everything.

I have seen the truckin stuff personally, and think they should stick to lowered trucks. Poor tolerances on bolt holes, bad fitment, etc.

No, not with a trac bar drop bracket.

Thanks man. Proud to be the big gay truck expert :grinpimp:

You never want to use a drop pitman arm without the corresponding drop trac bar bracket. One without the other will throw the bumpsteer geometry all out of whack and lead to poor handling and possibly even a death wobble (not to mention how steep the trac bar would be with 6" of lift and no drop bracket, moving the axle left-right significantly through the suspension travel...which fights the natural motion of the leaf springs - poor ride). If you left the stock pitman arm and sleeved (or went adjustable) the trac bar, then it would be fine....however, on the 99-04 leaf sprung superduties, the drag link adjustment sleeve maxes out at about 3" without a drop pitman arm, and the drag links ends shortly thereafter. Therefore the drop pitman arm AND drop trac bar bracket are a must to get it right.
Let me know if you need anything. :)

sorry, i mispoke, the chassis tech kit comes with a drop pan brkt. and a pitman arm, the tolerances on there stuff can be loose, but the price is right, and it works. i have modded pan bars alot but as far as the bumpsteer, biggreen is correct. usually the pan mod occurs when a spring lift or level was previously installed and the pan brkt. just doesn't line up anymore.
it's all about your budget, there is alot of "nice stuff" out there, and icon is one of those..

Is Donahoe racing finished then? Or did Icon taken them over?

Sky's Offroad has a 4" lift that relocates the spring hangers. They also have a shackle flip kit for the rear.
