Join Experience El Dorado for a landmark trek only the likes of Todd Stanley Productions can take you on.. History is rich at the the Marshall Gold Discovery Park where real life miners team up with costumed docents who give insights into why thousands flocked to California and toiled long hours in icy water hoping for the "big strike." Then it's off for a stroll through downtown Placerville and the El Dorado County Historic Museum. Then an action-packed glimpse of modern day cowboys as they “shoot for the stars". Our field correspondent Cory Tapia time-travels into El Dorado County's historic past. An absolute must see episode!

Welcome ABC San Diego!

Experience El Dorado begins airing this month on 10NEWS KGTV, the ABC television affiliate in San Diego, California. It broadcasts as a digital only station on VHF channel 10. The station can be seen on Cox Communications, Time Warner Cable, and AT&T U-verse on cable channel 10 in standard definition. We look forward to broadcasting with KGTV for years to come.

Rubicon Trail Episode to Broadcast December 6th

The much anticipated Rubicon Trail Episode will broadcast December 6th, 2009. This episode brought the crew of Experience El Dorado on a three day trek over the historic Rubicon Trail in El Dorado National Forest. We joined legendary 4x4 pioneer, Mark A. Smith and Jeep Jamboree USA for this trip. This entire episode will be dedicated to the many 4-wheeling opportunities that exist on the Rubicon Trail. Our Title Sponsor for this episode will be The Rubicon Trail Foundation: www.rubicontrail.org The Rubicon Trail Foundation is a federally recognized non-profit organization dedicated to the future health of the Rubicon Trail.

Can't make either of the previous events?

Head over to Lotus Sunday afternoon at 4pm on December 6 for more of the same, with RTF Directors/Officers, as well (though I expect there will be fewer requests for THEIR signatures!):

Real good show my wife and i laughed our way through it. Good stuff. Except for the "put your front tire on that tree" quote.. ouch maybe should have left that sentence out.
Real real good though..

We had a great time at the Gringos RTF Premiere Party, with about half the RTF officers and directors and a couple hundred Rubicon friends! The crowd spilled out on both front and back decks, and was out under the RTF awnings until we all squeezed inside to see the episode.

I've watched plenty of Rubicon footage, but it just amazes me how cool it can be with professional production, directing, personalities, music and videographers... WOW!

Todd Stanley Productions and Experience El Dorado promoted us well, and I'm looking forward to hearing the buzz in El Dorado about Rubicon Trail, Rubicon Trail Foundation, Jamboree, and etc.

Watch it for some smiles, watch it for some Rubicon vistas, and watch it for tires-turning, rocks scraping, and Rubicon... well, we'd all rather be on the trail, but this may scratch that Rubicon itch for now.

Just found out that the San Diego version was the "gold fever"
episode that we saw in the previous installment.
Anyone know when the "Rubicon" episode will air down there?
