From the Mountain Democrat:

The Center for Biological Diversity (CBD) and the Pacific Rivers Council submitted two new petitions to the USFWS to list two amphibians as endagered in the Sierra's.

This could affect the stocking of fish and grazing rights, but could easily shut down 4x4 trails in the high sierra. Don't be surprised at the end-game that enviromentalists are aiming for: no vehicle traffic in forest lands!

The CBD was also behind the closure of a large portion of Glamis sand dunes in So. California desert. They will stop at nothing.
